Missing Plugins Folder

If you do not find plugins in the "Plugins" menu, it is likely that you are not logged in as the user who installed BrainVoyager since plugins are stored in the "Documents\BrainVoyager\Extensions" folder during installation.

In that case we recommend to install the whole "BrainVoyager" folder that includes all standard plugins as well as JavaScripts, Python scripts, Python plugins in the Extensions folder as well as other subfolders including Atlases and MNI Templates (see below).

Download and Installation

Download the contents of the entire "BrainVoyager" folder. Copy and extract the downloaded "BrainVoyager.zip" file in the "Documents\BrainVoyager" folder so that the unzipped contents is stored in the user's "Documents\BrainVoyager\ folder.

If the data is extracted at another location, move the "BrainVoyager" folder into the "Documents\" folder. The "BrainVoyager" folder will contain the following subfolders:

  • "Atlases"
  • "DNN-Segmentation"
  • "Extensions_BV24.2"
  • "GettingStartedGuides"
  • "GLMsingle"
  • "MapLUTs"
  • "MNITemplates"
  • "Notebooks"
  • "SampleData"
  • "UsersGuide"

In case you want to reinstall only specific files, extract the "BrainVoyager" folder somewhere else and then move the relevant files in the appropriate sub-folder inside the "Documents\BrainVoyager\" folder.
